Case File: Black Knight

My first impression of BK was that he was into 'live action role playing'. But in fact he is a history buff who participates in re-enactment groups. The difference being is that he has actually had some training/practice with a sword and shield. I mean to take Barbara to see him joust at the medieval theme restaurant he performs at. When I was making his telescoping lance and "Atomic" Steed I was so excited. After I completed it I was disheartened to realize that, just as my size control powers were derived from Jan's genetics, these weapons were not completely original. The power lance is a knock off of Doctor Octopus' arms (though not prehensile), and the zero point energy that powers the steed is based on a paper I read by some 12 year old from the Baxter school. I think I will put a blunt end on the lance to keep BK from accidentally impaling another Defender. Maybe I should patent the telescoping technology. I bet it never even occurred to Doctor Octopus… it's not like he's going to sue me…
